Change a Gadget
You can reconfigure the gadgets that you created. In most cases, this means changing the selected filter. For client summaries, you can also change how the information is grouped and sorted, as well as its format (Summary Type).
To change a gadget, follow the instructions for that type of gadget.
There are no configuration options for an Active Incident in Region gadget.
If you have a number of filters to define, you will likely want to create them from the Filters tab. However, you can also view, edit, and build new filters as you work within the gadget.
Any time you modify your dashboard, be sure to save your changes.
To change a gadget

On the Dashboard tab, in the Current Dashboard menu, select the dashboard you want to update. The dashboard opens.

Locate the gadget and, on the upper right, click the configure icon.

Depending on the type of gadget, take these actions if the gadget type is:
Division Incident
In the Division menu, select the appropriate division.
Client List

In the Filter menu, click the filter you want to use or edit.

To change the configuration of an existing filter:

Click View. The filter opens in a new window.

Add to or change the search terms and search sets.

Click Save or Save As. A window opens.

If appropriate, enter or change the filter Name.

Click Save. The window closes.

Close the filter window. The gadget shows the revised filter.

To add a new filter to the gadget:
Click New. A window opens.
Add one or more search terms and/or search sets.
Click Search. Your results appear in the window.
Click Save or Save As. A window opens.
Enter the Name of the new filter.
Click Save. The window closes.
Close the filter window. The gadget shows the new Filter.

If appropriate, clear or select Incident Mode Enabled.
Client Summary

In the Filter menu, click the filter you want to use or edit.

To change the configuration of an existing filter:

Click View. The filter opens in a new window.

Add to or change the search terms and search sets.

Click Save or Save As. A window opens.

If appropriate, enter or change the filter Name.

Click Save. The window closes.

Close the filter window. The gadget shows the revised filter.

To add a new filter to the gadget:
Click New. A window opens.
Add one or more search terms and/or search sets.
Click Search. Your results appear in the window.
Click Save or Save As. A window opens.
Enter the Name of the new filter.
Click Save. The window closes.
Close the filter window. The gadget shows the new Filter.

If appropriate, change Group By.

If appropriate, change Sort By.

If appropriate, change the Summary Type:

Pie Chart
-
Bar Chart
-
Table
-
Counter Box
-

If appropriate, clear or select Incident Mode Enabled.
Regional Client Summary

In the Filter menu, click the filter you want to use or edit.

If necessary, select the summary group from Group By.

To change the configuration of an existing filter:

Click View. The filter opens in a new window.

Add to or change the search terms and search sets.

Click Save or Save As. A window opens.

If appropriate, enter or change the filter Name.
-
Click Save. The window closes.

Close the filter window. The gadget shows the revised filter.

To add a new filter to the gadget:
Click New. A window opens.
Add one or more search terms and/or search sets.
Click Search. Your results appear in the window.
Click Save or Save As. A window opens.
Enter the Name of the new filter.
Click Save. The window closes.
Close the filter window. The gadget shows the new Filter.

If appropriate, clear or select Incident Mode Enabled.

Click Apply.

Click Save. The Save Dashboard window opens.

Click Save.
