Edit API Settings

You must edit both the Unified Command Platform settings and ArcGIS API settings to configure the ArcGIS Extension plug-in.

To edit the Unified Command Platform API settings

  1. Access the Admin View.

  2. In the main menu, click the integrations icon integrations icon. The Integrations page opens.

  3. Click the ArcGIS Extension tab. The ArcGIS Extension page opens.

  5. On the WebEOC API tab, for API URL, enter your Unified Command Platform API address.

  6. The URL is composed of the server address on which Unified Command Platform is running and the API page address /api.asmx. For example, http://www.WebEOCInstance.com/api.asmx.

  7. For User Name, select the appropriate user. This user must have access to all boards and all display views and permissions used for synchronization between Unified Command Platform and ArcGIS.

  8. Enter the Password associated with the user you selected for User Name.

  9. For Position, select the position to associate with the account.

  10. Select an incident. This selection enables access to the Unified Command Platform API and does not limit the syncing of data to just one incident.

  11. Optionally, to validate and verify your entries and selections, click Test Settings.

  12. Click Save.

To edit the ArcGIS API settings

  1. From the ArcGIS Extension page, click the ArcGIS API tab. The ArcGIS API Settings section opens.

  3. Enter the ArcGIS API URL and the proxy server address, if applicable.

  4. Optionally, to validate and verify your entries and selections, click Test Settings.

  5. Click Save.
