Enable the Crisis Track Board Standard Icon

Before you can access the WebEOC Nexus interface in Crisis Track, as your organization’s main point of contact (POC), you must request that the Crisis Track Board be enabled in WebEOC Nexus. To do this, you need to create a support ticket by emailing (support@juvare.com) or calling +1 (877) 771-0911 to contact the Juvare Support Center and include the following information.

After enabling the interface, the Juvare Support Center will notify you that the interface is ready. In Crisis Track, you will need to select which forms appear in WebEOC Nexus. Then, Crisis Track will feed information to the API URL by accessing the specified board (for example, the free board provided by Juvare). This means that, just like a regular user, the API must be logged in to the position as part of a feature group that has permission to access the board.

Required Information Notes

API Username and Password

If you do not have a user account for the API, create a new user account (for example, name it Crisis Track API) and set the account type as Service as an Administrator.

Be sure to record the password you create for this user account in a secure place for future reference and provide it in the Support ticket.

API URL

List your WebEOC Nexus URL and note that it is hosted by Juvare.

Groups

To view the Crisis Track Board, the API position and other user positions must be added to a feature group that has access to the Crisis Track Board. We recommend creating or designating a separate feature group to manage the Crisis Track board.

For example:

  1. In WebEOC Nexus, create a feature group called Board – Crisis Track - Admin.

  2. Add the API and user positions to the board.

  3. Add the Crisis Track Board to the feature group Board – Crisis Track - Admn. If you want to make the board available with different permission levels, create additional feature groups with those levels.

A separate feature group for the API position is recommended.

Board Name

This is the name you specified when you imported the Crisis Track board.

Position We recommend that you have a position specifically for use with the API. If you do not have an existing WebEOC Nexus API position, you can create one (for example, name it Crisis Track API) and add it to the user account for the API.
Test Incident You must provide the name of a test incident in WebEOC Nexus for the initial connection. It can be an existing test incident or you can create a new one. After the initial connection is made and tested, your Crisis Track Administrator can view and select other WebEOC Nexus incidents in Crisis Track (through the integration) so that new reports flow to specific incidents in WebEOC Nexus.
