Approve Requests to Join Organizations

Being associated with an organization allows external contacts to receive Ad Hoc Alerts sent by that organization.
The Membership page in the Self-Service Portal allows external contacts to request to join organizations affiliated with WebEOC Nexus. When the contact submits the request, Pending appears after the organization's name and an email is triggered for an administrator to approve.
After approval, an email is triggered informing the contact that they have been approved and Accepted appears after the organization's name.
To approve requests

Click the Organizations tab. The number of Pending memberships appears in each row.

Locate the organization with the # Pending Membership indication, and click the record.

On the side panel, click Members. A list of accounts associated with the organization opens.

In the Organization Status filter, above the list, select Pending, and then Apply. Accounts that have requested to join the organization appear in the list with a status of Pending.

For each pending request, click the checkbox next to the account, and then click Change Status above the list. The Change Status window appears.

Select Accepted, click Save and then click OK. The contact account is assigned the recipient role and is associated with the organization.
