Manage ArcGIS Credentials

Although multiple users can be configured, only user credentials from the same ArcGIS organization can be configured in each WebEOC Nexus instance. Additionally, only ArcGIS users with a role of Publisher or Administrator can be configured since accounts are used to create Feature Services in ArcGIS.

To verify that your selections are valid, before committing to a settings or credentials change, you can validate your selections and entries by clicking the Test buttons in most ArcGIS Extension administration windows.

To add ArcGIS credentials

  1. From the ArcGIS API tab, scroll to the Credentials section and click Add Credentials.

  2. ArcGIS API Settings Credentials section

  3. In the Add Credentials window, for User Name and Password, enter the appropriate credentials.

  4. Unlike when you log in to ArcGIS using a browser, the User Name in this context is case sensitive.

  5. Click Save.

To edit ArcGIS credentials

  1. From the ArcGIS API tab, scroll to the Credentials section.

  2. ArcGIS API Settings Credentials section

  3. Click the user name of the user whose credentials you want to edit and make the change.

  4. Click Save.

To delete ArcGIS credentials

  1. From the ArcGIS API tab, scroll to the Credentials section.

  2. ArcGIS API Settings Credentials section

  3. Click the delete icon associated with the user whose credentials you want to delete.

To remove multiple users simultaneously, select the checkbox to the left of each user’s name and click Remove

You can only delete credentials that are not associated with a Feature Service. Thus, you must remove or re-assign all Feature Services assigned to a set of credentials before deleting them. Feature Services are not synchronized with ArcGIS until new, valid credentials are assigned.
