eICS Interface
The Electronic Incident Command System (eICS™) Interface is a software bridge that allows you to link to and view eICS incident information from WebEOC Nexus. Incident data is refreshed every five minutes. This solution comprises three board components—Events, Incidents, and Locations—along with additional eICS Incident Mapping and Administration components.
The eICS Incident Mapping component is used to manage the linking of incidents between WebEOC Nexus and eICS. The Incidents Mapping list contains mapped and unmapped incidents. Users who have been granted permission can create and remove links between incidents.
-
The Incidents List view displays eICS incidents that have been shared with WebEOC Nexus. You can filter the list by incident status and operational period and view details about each incident.
-
The Events List view displays eICS events or activities that are occurring for each mapped incident. You can filter the list by incident status, operational period, and priority and view details about each event.
-
The Locations List view displays eICS location details for locations associated with mapped incidents. You can filter the list by incident status and operational period and view details about each location. A map feature allows you to view the location on a map using your WebEOC Nexus Mapper Professional or Mapper Lite add-on.
Configuration and sharing of eICS data with boards in WebEOC Nexus take place in the eICS Administration component. You can use the custom field mapping feature to configure and push incident, event, or location data to any WebEOC Nexus boards in your system.
