The <viewlink> tag provides a mechanism to open another view from within a board. For example, a summary list may have a <viewlink> tag that allows users to open a view showing a single record's details. In previous versions, views opened with a <viewlink> tag when the target attribute was set to tab opened in a new browser tab outside of WebEOC Nexus. Now, views opened with a <viewlink> tag when the target attribute is set to tab open inside WebEOC Nexus in a new global tab within the product. Opening views in this way keeps users in the application and provides a more consistent navigation experience across boards and forms. Administrators can still configure specific <viewlinks> using the target attribute to open in a new browser tab if needed. See <viewlink> for details.

When you attempt to delete a file that has been added using the <multiplefileinput> tag, a confirmation message now displays before the file is deleted.

Fixed an issue that occurred when a <viewlink> from a List view opened a Details view. If the Detail record opened by the <viewlink> was updated by a user in another user session or updated on a different tab, the Details view did not update. For example, user A clicked a record on the List view on the Shelters board for the Northeast Facility. The Details view for the Northeast Facility opened using a <viewlink>. In a different session, user B updated the Northeast Facility record. User B’s updates were not displayed to user A. With the fix, the Details view updates as expected in this scenario. To continue the example, user A now sees user B’s updates on the Northeast Facility Details view.

Fixed an issue regarding a board’s List view. When the List view was opened in a new browser tab, and a new record was added to the List view on the original browser tab, this new record did not display in the List view on the new browser tab. For example, user A opened the Shelters board List view, then opened the Shelters board List view again in a new browser tab. User A returned to the original Shelters board List view and added a record to it. This new record did not appear in the List view of the Shelters board opened in the new tab. With the fix, the record added on the original List view now displays on the List view opened in the new browser tab.

Fixed an issue that only affected boards where the default sort is not set to descending entry date. When a user clicked the column to sort on entry date descending, the board was instead sorted by the default sort set for the board. For example, if a user clicked the entry date descending sort on the Project Management List view, the board was instead sorted by Precinct, the default sort set for the board. With the fix, board sorting is now correct for descending entry date for boards where the default sort is not set to descending entry date.

Resolved issues that occurred when a user attempted to update their locale settings on the User Account page. The user’s selection in the Locale dropdown became read-only. If the user attempted to save the update, an error was displayed. With the fix, when a user changes their Locale setting on the User Account page, the update is saved without errors. Additionally, a confirmation message now prompts the user to refresh the application to display the language associated with the new locale setting.

Fixed an issue with links in WebEOC Nexus to the Blackberry Atdhoc Emergency Notification System. When a user clicked a link to this system, a 403 error page was displayed, even though the page opened correctly in a browser. With the fix, links in this system open from within WebEOC Nexus.
