WebEOC Nexus 10.2 Release Notes

These notes describe enhancements introduced in the WebEOC Nexus 10.2 release scheduled for December 13, 2023. More information is available through the help in your solution or by contacting the Juvare Support Center at +1 (877) 771-0911 or support@juvare.com.

Preconditions

To upgrade to WebEOC Nexus, your WebEOC Nexus environment must be:

  • Juvare-hosted

  • Running WebEOC Nexus 9.17+

  • Using Alerts

  • Using Juvare Login Services

Redesigned Navigation

The new user interface simplifies navigation and provides quick access to critical information through the main menu and purpose-built landing pages.

The main menu on the left expands and collapses to maximize your workspace while providing immediate access to essential features like Contacts, Ad Hoc Alerts, and JX Collaborate. Landing pages, meanwhile, offer overviews and alerts on previously nested information about boards, maps, menus, dashboards, plug-ins, and links. Additional enhancements include improved indicators that help you identify when new information is available and offer quick access to view it and the ability to search for content within a landing page.

Improved Mapping

As a branded implementation of Esri's ArcGIS, maps in WebEOC Nexus offer an enhanced user experience, new maps and map layers, and a more robust geocoder for enhanced locational accuracy, infrastructure, and logistics.

In addition to faster loading and reduced wait times, the new base map selections, 3D maps, topographical features, and heat map layers help you and your team effectively visualize, communicate, and make decisions on the data captured in WebEOC Nexus.

Configurable Homepages

Configurable homepages allow you, as an administrator, to configure your homepage header, enable an inbox, and select the boards that appear when people log in to WebEOC Nexus.

Initially, a default homepage is assigned to all positions. You can update this homepage and build and assign other homepages for positions in your solution. With clear tasks and direct access to critical information, configurable homepages provide custom, streamlined workflows that reduce training requirements and provide guidance as people complete complex tasks.

Resolutions

A few issues previously identified in WebEOC Nexus were addressed to ensure they were not present in WebEOC Nexus.

  • The list of permitted file extensions is again enforced on board record attachments.

  • Board notifications are no longer sent to inactive contacts.

Supported Plug-Ins

Juvare offers a wide range of cost-free and licensed plug-ins that allow you to further customize your WebEOC Nexus solution. These plug-ins are hosted in the cloud and vary somewhat from those available with previous versions. For more information, see: Plug-Ins.
