WebEOC Nexus 10.6 Release Notes
These notes describe updates in the WebEOC Nexus 10.6 release scheduled for October 10, 2024. More information is available through the help in your solution or by contacting the Juvare Support Center at +1 (877) 771-0911 or support@juvare.com.
Board Sharing
With JX Collaborate, a premium feature, you can now share incident-independent boards through your JX networks to generate a common operating picture. Organizations in your network can view, interact with, and update shared boards, allowing all parties to create and receive data simultaneously for enhanced collaboration.
-
Incident-dependent board sharing is coming later this year.
-
Board Sharing is currently in beta testing with a select group of clients; the general release is anticipated early next year. For more information about this feature, contact your Client Success Manager (CSM).
Group Tab on Account Profiles
On account profiles, a new Group tab lists the notification groups to which the person belongs. From this tab, administrators can add and remove people from groups, while account owners can view and manage their group memberships.
Account Notification Preferences
On the Create User and Edit User pages, administrators can now set people’s preferred notification channels (text or voice) for both office and mobile phones. People with account update permissions can also manage these preferences.
Homepage Logos
Administrators can now update and crop logos directly on homepages to correct distortion or misalignment. Each homepage can have its own logo, but the logo added on the default homepage becomes the default logo, which is inherited by any homepage without a custom logo.
Presentation Mode
Introducing presentation mode, a full-screen view for maps, boards, and dashboards. This mode is especially useful for displaying information in group settings like Emergency Operations Centers. It also allows you to automatically or manually cycle through open tabs for smoother presentations.
Dark Mode on Maps
Dark mode, a color scheme that uses a dark background with light-colored text, icons, and other elements, now automatically extends to the maps in your solution when enabled.
Map Exports
You can now export map views in PDF and PNG formats, with options to include the map legend and render the map in landscape or portrait orientation.
Upgraded PDF Engine
A new Blink PDF engine is now available for WebEOC Nexus boards. This PDF renderer for the web platform provides support for many of the newest features used in browsers, allowing a more accurate representation of advanced boards.
To use the new engine, add the "engine="blink" attribute to your <pdflink> tags.
Data Messaging
On the Contacts page, in the Accounts, Groups, and Organization tabs and their related pages, if no data is available (for example, a group has no members), or if all data has been filtered out, a message now displays letting you know that there is no data.
Notification Recipients Tags
The <notificationrecipientspicker> tag has been enhanced to improve data accessibility. New attributes have been added, allowing board builders to customize which recipient types (for example, Recipients or Groups) are displayed on the picker.
Additionally, a new tag called the <notificationrecipientspickerdetails> tag is now available. Add this tag to your board to display a button on the picker that opens a dialog showing only the selected recipients and their counts.
Board Theme Detection and Dark Mode Styling
Board builders can now add the <applytheme> tag to their Display views to detect the current theme and create dark-mode-specific styling.
Enhancements
-
Mobile Device Management Support: The WebEOC Nexus Android and iOS apps now allow administrators to configure the system URL through a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution. This streamlines the setup process and ensures users are automatically connected to the correct URL upon launching the app for the first time.
-
Homepage Activity Audits: Your solution now tracks homepage updates, allowing administrators to review activities like creating, updating, and deleting homepages on the Audit Log page.
-
Accounts Managed Filter: A filter to Show accounts I manage was added on the Accounts tab of the Contacts page.
-
Response Times for Ad Hoc Alerts: The Allowed Time for Response setting in Ad Hoc Alerts can now be set for up to 168 hours or seven days.
To enable extended response times in your WebEOC Nexus Nexus system, contact your Client Success Manager (CSM) or Juvare Support Center.
-
File Library Search: The File Library search box now filters results automatically as you type, enabling partial file name searches.
