Delivery Methods

There are numerous ways to deliver the notifications you send through the solution. The standard Ad Hoc Alerts delivery methods are Inbox and email. The Inbox is a folder within your solution that contains the notifications you receive. Other delivery methods including fax, pager, text, and voice can be set up as an upgrade. When you create Ad Hoc Alerts, you send the notification through one or more of these methods.

Premium Feature Fax, pager, text and voice delivery methods can be added.

People who receive the notification do so through the methods for which they have valid contact details on their account. If a person does not have the correct contact details on their account, they will not receive the notification through that method.

Email notifications are limited to 10MB in total, including attachments. Text and voice notifications are limited to 1500 characters, including content text and all response option texts. If any special characters are included, the total message length will be reduced to 650 characters. Special characters include: ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) - _ = + \ | [ ] { } ; : / ?

These addresses are blocked from receiving notifications and are marked as spam, unsubscribed, or invalid.
