Add an Organization

Premium Feature Contacts procedure

Organizations allow you to group your external contacts and WebEOC Nexus users, and manage their alerts permissions, based on organizational structure.

A default organization, called Default WebEOC Organization is provided granting all contacts basic organizational permissions that parallel their WebEOC Nexus access permissions. New WebEOC Nexus users are automatically assigned to this organization, unless you rename it or delete it. See Manage Organizations.

For many organizations, the Default WebEOC Organization is sufficient.

If you have a more complex organizational structure, or want to differentiate between sub-organizations or departments, you can:

  • Create your own organization and delete the Default WebEOC Organization or

  • Rename the Default WebEOC Organization after all contacts have been assigned.

Once you delete the Default WebEOC Organization, you cannot recreate it. If you have not created another organization before deleting the Default WebEOC Organization, only WebEOC Nexus Administrators will be able to interact with alerts and Contacts.
