WebEOC Nexus Overview

WebEOC Nexus—the next generation of Juvare WebEOC Nexus preparedness and response solution—is a cloud-based platform designed to help agencies and organizations maintain a common operating picture during critical events while simultaneously delivering powerful data and process workflows that can be used to expedite or automate routine tasks.

Offering a streamlined user interface, a wide range of performance enhancements, and a seamless yet highly secure single sign-on (SSO) configuration through Juvare Login Services (JLS), WebEOC Nexus combines WebEOC Nexus’s industry-leading emergency management and enterprise resilience workflows with the flexibility and scalability of a cloud hosting architecture.

Background

WebEOC Nexus was one of the first web-enabled, commercial-off-the-shelf CIMS systems developed for emergency management. As a web-based product, WebEOC Nexus ushered in the era of “virtual” EOCs, making it possible to monitor and manage an emergency response from anywhere in the world. With WebEOC Nexus, crisis information is immediately and universally available to authorized users everywhere. It can be configured based on local requirements, and it gives agencies and organizations the ability to link to a wide assortment of different systems.

WebEOC Nexus can be used during the planning, mitigation, response, and recovery phases of any emergency. It can also be used by agencies and organizations during day-to-day activities to manage routine, nonemergency operations.

As a tool, WebEOC Nexus can be tailored to almost any process. The default status boards that come with WebEOC Nexus can be implemented as-is or they can be modified locally. Status boards can also be built using standard tools within WebEOC Nexus or external HTML editors.
