eICS 5.4 Release Notes

These notes describe updates in the eICS 5.4 release scheduled for Wednesday, January 29, 2025. More information is available through the help in your solution or by contacting the Juvare Support Center at +1 (877) 771-0911 or support@juvare.com.


Restrict Message Responses

When you Send, Respond to, or Delete a Message from the Incident Dashboard, you can now choose to prevent anyone from responding to the message. This helps prevent unnecessary responses from filling the Messages page, the Event Log, and your email inbox.

Delete Incident Files

Administrators can now Manage Incident Files from the Incident Dashboard.

Share Contact Information

If you use the opt-in features described below, there is now a setting on your profile that lets you show or hide your contact information on the Contact Us window. This window is accessed through the help icon Help Icon in the header.

The Contact Us window

By displaying your contact information here, you let others know to contact you for non-technical questions.

If you do not use the opt-in features, then this feature was already available on your profile for domain administrators, and it is now available for all contacts.

Opt-In Features

Clients can opt in to enable new features for managing contacts, sharing files, and sending notifications. If you have not opted in, these features are not enabled and do not affect you yet. You may request to opt in at any time as we continue to update these features. For more information, see Opt-In Features.

This release includes the following enhancement to the opt-in features:

Contact System Role: You can now add people with the Contact system role to incidents as candidates and send messages to them.
