Request a Collaboration
Collaborations define how resources and status types are shared from an owner region to a target region. A region can have multiple collaborations, so one owner region can share to multiple target regions.
You cannot create a collaboration on your own. Instead, you must submit a request to your Client Success Manager (CSM). In this request, include the following information for each collaboration you want to create.
-
Owner Region: The region from which the resources and status types will be shared
-
Target Region: The region to which the resources and status types will be shared
-
Resources and Status Types: The resources and status types you want to share. Specify which of these should be updatable in the target region. Specify if you want to transfer ownership of any resources from the owner region to the target region.
After the collaboration is created, people with the appropriate permissions can configure the shared resources and status types in the target region. You can assign users and status types to shared resources, and you can add shared status types to roles, resource types, and resource views.
People with the appropriate permissions in the owner region can edit the collaboration to configure shared resources and status types or deactivate the collaboration.
