Request to Consolidate Status Types
If there are similar status types set up in different regions, Dynamic Status Sharing can be used to consolidate those status types into one shared status type. For example, you could consolidate four different ICU Bed Availability status types from four different regions into one shared ICU Bed Availability status type.
When consolidating status types, you select one target status type and one or more other status types in different regions. All these status types will become a shared status type identical to the target status type. This shared status type's settings can only be modified in the target status type's region.
You cannot consolidate status types on your own. Instead, you must submit a request to your Client Success Manager (CSM). In this request, specify the following information for each set of status types you want to consolidate.
-
The target status type and its region
-
Other status types you want to consolidate and their regions
Before status types can be consolidated, collaborations must be created between the target status type's region and any other involved regions. If these collaborations do not already exist, they will be created as part of this request.
