New Right—View Users in Resource Detail View

The new View Users in Resource Detail View right allows you to control who can view user information within resource details. Previously, when viewing resource details, user could see the list of users assigned to that resource and contact information for those users. Now, only users with the View Users in Resource Detail View right in that region can see that information. Initially, this right will be assigned to all existing roles.

For more information on changing rights for roles and users, see User Rights.

Interface Status Summary

The new Interface Status Summary page provides information about interfaces, including overall health and recent call and error logs for your interfaces. If you do not have interfaces, which are premium features, no data appears on this page.

User Export Updates

When exporting data about users on the Users page, two updates were made to the resulting Resource Associations sheet in the Excel® file.

A table of example data from the Resource Associations sheet of a user export. There are columns for Username, Resource (Name), Associated, Update, Report, and Delegated Admin

  • For clarity, the Administer User column was renamed to Delegated Admin. This column indicates if the user is a delegated administrator for the resource listed on that row.

  • An issue was resolved in which some administrators with the User - Configure Regional User Access right were labeled as a delegated administrator for some, but not all, resources in the region.

Saturation Score No Longer Available

Previously, when creating a status type, you could use the NEDOCS Calculation or Saturation Score data types to calculate the degree of overcrowding in emergency departments. Because the NEDOCS Calculation is the preferred industry standard, the Saturation Score is no longer available in EMResource. Historical Saturation Score data is still available in reports for your reference.

If you did not use Saturation Score previously, this change will not affect you.

Enhancements

  • When the Status Detail report is generated in Excel® format for status types using the NEDOCS Calculation, it now includes detailed NEDOCS data.

Resolutions

  • The Events dashboard widget can again be correctly sorted by start time.

  • In the mobile app, in the Hospitals Near Me view, resources that have a numeric or NEDOCS default status type with color coding now display the relevant colors.
