Add a Filter
Filters can be applied to Client List and Client Summary gadgets
Groupings of data. There are 5 gadget types: Incidents - Region, Incidents - Division, Client List, Client Summary, Regional Client Summary. in your dashboards

Search criteria that allow you to pinpoint the clients and details you need. to be applied to Client List gadgets, you need to specify the columns that appear. By default, the filter includes the Age, Gender, Provider Evaluation, and Tracking Summary. You can add columns to the filter and remove them. To be used for a client list
Shows a list of clients that match the criteria in the search filter you select for the gadget., you must have at least one column specified.
Search criteria are key to building useful dashboard components. Refer to Filter Elements, Gadget Elements, and Search Criteria Elements for details and examples.
You can add a single term, a set of criteria, or multiple sets of criteria. To add filters, build a search following the steps in Search for Patient Records then follow the procedures in the expanding headings below:
Your filter needs to include at least one column if you want to use it in a Client List gadget. By default, several column choices are already selected. You can add to and change columns for the filter.

Click the Columns button.

In the list, select the checkbox for each column you want to include. The column moves to the top of the list.

To remove a column, clear its checkbox.

In your selected columns, click and drag columns to set the order you want.

Click the column by which you want to sort your search results.

Click outside the list to close it.

Click Save As.

Enter the filter's Name.

If appropriate, enter its Description.

Specify the owner as yourself (Personal) or your division.
As a user, you are automatically the owner of any filter you create. Users who are not administrators can create dashboards and filters, but they are for personal use only.
If you are an administrator, you can create personal filters that you own and that only you can use. You can also expand ownership of the filter by designating your division as the Owner. This allows any other administrator in your division to reconfigure the filter.
If you are a Regional Administrator, you can make your region the owner, allowing all other administrators at your level to use and edit it.
When any authorized administrator makes changes, the filter is changed for every user who has any level of access to it. -
If you want to share this filter, set or change sharing.

Click Save.
If you have the appropriate role, you can include archived and deleted clients in your search. You may also be able to create a new filter by copying an existing filter.
