EMResource Interface
The Unified Command Platform-EMResource interface is a software bridge that enables EMResource users to share critical hospital bed count data with public health officials and emergency operation center (EOC) managers using Unified Command Platform. The EMResource Interface provides real-time monitoring of healthcare resources for everyone involved in an emergency medical response. For example, if a hospital is updating the number of available beds in EMResource, authorized users logged into Unified Command Platform can instantly see that data in the applicable status board.
Additional incident-specific resources are easily tracked, such as decontamination capability, ventilators, pharmaceuticals, and specialty services.
The EMResource Interface facilitates National Disaster Medical System (NDMS) and HHS HAvBED reporting. It also complies with HHS and the ASPR 2007 cooperative agreement, which outlines bed tracking system requirements and bed definitions, providing required consistency among hospitals reporting bed availability information.
