New Feature
Archive and Restore Users
Starting with Unified Command Platform 10.14, administrators can archive user accounts instead of deleting them. Archiving is a safe alternative to deleting user accounts because archived accounts retain history and allow administrators to restore accounts and their previous positions if needed. After archiving a user account, administrators can also permanently delete it if compliance or policy requires full removal.
When a user account is archived, that user account is:
-
Locked and disabled. The account cannot log in, receive notifications, or display in Unified Command Platform as a recipient of notifications.
-
Removed from all assigned positions.
-
Not displayed in the Active Users table.
-
Displayed on the new Archived Users page.
On the User Accounts page, the Delete icon that appeared on the right of each user account record in previous versions has been replaced with an Archive icon.
Click this icon to access the new Archived Users page, where you can view, restore, or permanently delete a user account.
For more information about this feature, see Archive, Restore, and Delete User Accounts.
Enhancements
-
Updated Dark Mode Accessibility: Dark mode is no longer an experimental feature and is now available across the entire application for both admins and users. It no longer requires admin activation and can be toggled on or off directly from your user profile. See Enable Dark Mode.
For users on Unified Command Platform versions earlier than 10.14, dark mode support is limited and must be manually activated by an admin before users can toggle it from their profiles. To do so, go to System Settings > General and select Enable Dark Mode Toggle (Experimental).
-
New Mapping Error Indicator: A new warning indicator now appears in the lower-right corner of maps when WebEOC Nexus encounters an error while loading an external map layer. This enhancement replaces the previous large pop-up message with a smaller, less intrusive visual cue, helping you to stay aware of potential issues without interrupting your work.
To remove the indicator when it appears, click the X on its right side.
-
Updated Juvare Login Service (JLS): The JLS login page has been refreshed with an updated look and feel.
Resolutions
-
Fixed an issue where sessions were being duplicated and could not be removed or deleted. Sessions now display correctly as expected.
-
Fixed an issue where display views opened through a viewlink did not refresh when records on the linked board or table were updated. This affected List views and embedded views. Linked views now refresh correctly when records are added or edited.
-
Fixed an issue with how the currentdatetime or currenttime field populated in the hour after Daylight Saving Time (DST) ended. The fields retained the DST value, instead of the updated value after DST had ended. Now, in the hour after DST has ended, any boards that use the currentdatetime and currenttime fields show the correct time.
-
Fixed issue with previewing secure map layers.
-
Fixed an issue with the <textarea> element that did not allow the HTML maxlength value to be set. If a board builder set the maxlength attribute on a textarea element, then opened the view, the maxlength attribute was empty. With the fix, maxlength value can now be set for <textarea>.
