A Representational State Transfer (REST) interface for exchanging data is offered with Unified Command Platform. As a REST service, this interface communicates through HTTP to allow basic CRUD operations (Create, Remove, Update, Delete). Designed to be easy-to-use, understand, and document, the REST interface can prove more intuitive than other application programming interfaces (APIs).
This section is for software developers who want to use the REST interface. Due to its technical nature, knowledge of basic, object-oriented programming concepts and an advanced (administrator level) understanding of Unified Command Platform is assumed.
