Board Enhancements

Dark-mode capability has been added to the Incident Action Plan board.

TheICS 234 – Work Analysis Matrixhas been added and introduces a structured tool for defining operational objectives alongside optional strategies and associated tactics or work assignments. This matrix enhances incident planning by linking objectives to actionable steps, with seamless integration allowing selected tactics/work assignments to be sent directly to the ICS 215 for resource planning.

When previewing a plan within the working Incident Action Plan board, users can now elect to include forms that are in progress through the use of a toggle, providing better visibility into draft content before finalization.

With the most significant update in recent years, this version of the Incident Action Plan (IAP) introduces a range of new features, enhancements, and resolutions.
Features and Enhancements

Increased the font size on the IAP for improved readability.

Added data automation, allowing you to send data from ICS 201 to ICS 203, ICS 203/204 to ICS 205A, and ICS 215 to ICS 203/204.

Introduced a toggle option on worksheets and forms, allowing you to decide whether or not to include them in the IAP.

Added a message on the ICS 204, informing you when branches and divisions have not been configured.

Enabled drag-and-drop reordering of tables on ICS 201, 204, 205, 205A, 206, 211e-OS, 211p-OS, 215A, 220, 230, 232, and 233.

Added the ability to edit objectives on the ICS 201 and ICS 202.

Added an option to replace the org chart on the ICS 201 and ICS 207 with an image.

Added the Operations Section Chief phone number to the ICS 204.

Introduced several formatting improvements, especially on the ICS Forms, for consistency and ease of use.

Updated the details and PDF views on ICS 203 to hide fields that do not contain data.

Added time stamps that indicate when a form was last viewed or modified.

Resolved an issue that caused some images and graphics to display incorrectly on ICS 200 and 201.

Resolved an issue with the numbering format of objectives when printing ICS 202 or the IAP.

Resolved an issue where assigned positions were not retained when copying and editing groups and divisions on ICS 204.

Resolved an issue with inserting hyperlinks into text areas on ICS 204, 209, and 232.

Resolved an issue with landscape orientation formatting for printing on ICS 205.

Resolved an issue where lines between positions were not connecting as expected in the org chart on ICS 207.

The ICS 201 was updated, allowing you to select objectives from templates and add a static organization chart to match the FEMA ICS form.

The ICS 201 and ICS 202 forms were enhanced, allowing you to select objectives from the objectives library or create new objectives on the fly.

To improve responsiveness, the loading time on some pages was reduced for environments with thousands of WebEOC Nexus positions.

An issue related to IAP Board import view links was resolved.

Issues identified in WebEOC Nexus 9.13 and later related to navigating from the ICS Forms List to an input view were resolved.

An issue that prevented you from editing the description of IAP attachments was resolved.

An ICS 204 issue that prevented you from editing assigned 204 forms unless granted specific permission was resolved.

An issue with ICS 206 child-table data not displaying in PDFs was resolved.

On the Incident Action Plan (Working) board, an issue that caused new records to be created with a “Completed” status for some users was resolved. Now, all records are created with the “Not Started” status as expected.

On the ICS 202 Incident Objectives form, the selection of objectives was improved with selected rows displaying in a new table that allows you to easily reorder objectives. The order of objectives is now numbered and preserved when saving.

On the ICS 202 Incident Objectives form, an issue that caused a deleted objective to appear on the Details View of the PDF was resolved.

When including an ICS 203 Organization Assignment form in which one or more branches do not contain the Division/Group information, an issue that caused the IAP to not complete the publishing process was resolved.

The overall readability of the ICS 207 Organizational Chart was improved. Now, when names and positions are truncated because they are too long, you can point to the text and a text window displays the full name.
