Features and Enhancements
-
The Admin - Templates permission has been introduced to allow users to view and manage templates.
-
You can now create Project Templates from the Template view (accessible via the Templates button on the Projects view to the left of the Create New button).

Project Templates can also be created from existing projects by clicking the more icon in the last column on the right and selecting Send to Templates.
-
Project Templates can now be sent back to the Projects by selecting Send to Projects from the Templates view.
-
Projects and Project Templates can now be cloned, creating an identical copy of the project and all associated tasks.
Attachments and comments are not included in the duplication process.
-
When you delete projects, you now have the option to delete the project and all task records or delete the project and unassign all tasks.
-
Tasks can now be cloned from either the Tasks view or from within the Project Input view.
-
Drag-and-drop functionality has been added to the Projects Input view to allow tasks to be reordered directly from the page.

Task labels have been added to the task input.
-
Both Task labels and the Project Name are now visible on the Tasks view.

Contact details have been added to both Project and Task records. You can access these fields via the dropdown arrow next to the Owner field. The contact information is automatically populated from the Contributor record but can also be entered manually.

The board is now compatible with dark mode.
Dark mode must be enabled for your instance so that users can turn it on. See Enable Dark Mode for details.

The Project Management Board was updated to improve cost and time tracking. New features and enhancements include:

A new Cost Account Management view that includes:

Visual progress bars that display total costs compared to the budget.

Cost accounts that allow you to track department budgets or grants.

The ability to create cost accounts directly from the Cost Account Management view or when you create a project using a custom value.

The ability to directly assign one or more projects to a cost account from the cost account record.

New board permissions that allow users to create, edit, or delete cost accounts.

Improved time management tracking that allows you to allocate hours from projects and log hours on assigned tasks.

A new cost-tracking ability for projects. Projects have Time Management and Finance sections with manual overrides to track costs directly from the project or through the assigned tasks.

Enhanced dashboard visuals for costs and hours.

A new budget report for projects that includes finance and hours information.

An updated Last Updated column on Projects and Tasks now displays the most recent update time for child records.

The ability to select and enter new details, such as the owner, name, labels, description, deadline, financials, and watchers, simplifies project and task creation.

Project and task owners, known as contributors, are selected, created, and maintained within the board for streamlined access.

Easily attach files to projects and tasks by browsing or simply dragging and dropping files.
