To set up the National Qualification System (NQS) Board

When prompted, you must enter your Premium Board Subscription License Key.

  1. Import the Board.

  2. Create a group and assign the board to the feature group for user access.

  3. When adding or editing the board for a feature group, enter this information.

    Field Description Valid Values or Example
    Default Label The name for this board as you want it to appear in the menu. Any combination of up to 200 alphanumeric characters, excluding special characters.
    Input

    The view, which allows you to add records to the board, that you want to assign to the feature group.

    Input views are assigned using board permissions and this field is left as None.

    None
    Display The view, which appears when a board is opened, that you want to assign to the feature group.

    Select one of the following views:

    • For Admins: List - Position

    • For Supervisors: List - Users (Supervisor)

    • For Users: List - Users (User)

    Or one of these other views:

    • List - Position: Displays all positions.

    • List - Users (Supervisor): Displays all users that report to the current position.

    • List - Users (User): Displays the current user's record.

    • Dashboard: Displays the NQS Dashboard.

    Device Type Indicates the type of device on which the board is primarily intended for display.  

    Select one of the following devices:

    • Desktop

    • Mobile

    • Desktop and Mobile

    View Filters Determines what data is visible on the board. Unlike the filter/search feature that can be added to a board, which helps you find data, the view filters limit the visibility of the data.  No need to add or adjust these.
    Board Permissions Tags Identifies the actions members of the group are able to perform on the board.

    Delete: Allows the user to delete records.

  5. Click Save.
