Agency Information

The Agency Information tab, located under Process in the Admin View, allows you to define agency-specific settings, such as your branding, board options, and system messages.

Board colors and fonts can be managed from this area when using agency template code in boards. Views created in the board builder do not use this code. Instead, they apply a uniform user interface standard. When exporting boards that use the agency template, the theme is not exported.

Branding

Your agency name is displayed on the Home page, on the left. It can also be displayed on boards using the <agencyinfo /> tag. If you do not apply the tag to your board, your agency’s name does not appear on the board.

Likewise, the primary logo appears on the Home page, above the agency name and username. The primary logo and secondary logo can be displayed on a board using the <agencyinfo /> tag. If you do not apply the tag to your board, your logos do not appear. The <agencyinfo /> tag is included in the default board set and can be used there in the same manner.

For more information about board options, see Configure Board Options.

System Messages

There are several types of system messages that you can specify for your agency, including the Login Policy, System-wide Message, Terms & Conditions, and Forgot Password Email and Forgot Username Email.

Text for these messages can be copied from a Microsoft® Word document into the message field and formatting is retained.

Login Policy

The text you enter for the Login Policy appears on a page that is presented to the user prior to reaching the WebEOC Nexus Login page. Users must click Accept to continue logging in to WebEOC Nexus.

This message is useful if your agency has policy that must be accepted before people can be allowed into the solution. Also, when multiple environments exist, it is helpful to indicate whether the system is a production or training environment.

System-Wide Message

The text you enter for the System-wide Message appears in the Notifications section of the Home page and can also be displayed on boards using the <agencyinfo/> tag. Use this message to communicate critical information about protocols, events, or changes to system users.

Agency Terms & Conditions

The text you enter for the Agency Terms & Conditions appears on a page that is presented to the user prior to reaching theWebEOC Nexus Login page. Users must click Accept to continue logging in to WebEOC Nexus.

This message allows you to clearly state the terms and conditions through which you offer access to the system and secure user acceptance.
