Create an Import Profile

To create an import profile

  1. Access the Admin View.

  2. In the main menu, click the workflows icon workflows icon. The Workflows page opens.

  3. On the Boards tab, locate the board you want to work with and click its name.

  4. In the Import/Export section, click Import/Export Data.

  5. In the Import/Export Data page, open the Actions menu and click Manage Import Profiles.

  6. Click Create Import Profile.

  7. In Name, specify a name for the profile.

  8. In Type, select Excel or Shapefile.

  9. Click Browse or Choose File.

  10. Locate, select, and open the file you want to specify as an import profile.

  11. Click Next.

  12. If appropriate, select the Automatically Create Missing List Items checkbox.

  13. From Table Name, select the appropriate table.

  14. If appropriate, select a field from the Unique Field list.

  15. Map the fields, as appropriate.

  16. If you are importing from multiple worksheets to multiple tables, repeat steps 13 – 15 for each table (tab).

  17. Click Save.

  18. Click Cancel to return to the Import/Export Data page.
