Add a Resource Location

All Hazard Emergency Management customers can mark important resources on maps by configuring them as resource locations. After adding a structure, address, or location as a resource location, it appears on maps in other modules.

To add a resource location

  1. In the upper left, click Add and select Resource Location.

  2. To select a location, do one of the following:

    • To select a structure on your account, use the search bar to find a structure, or click the pencil icon and select a structure on the map. Crisis Track automatically populated location fields with information about that structure.

    • To select an address within your boundaries, select Geocode. Then, use the search bar to find an address, or click the hand icon and select an address on the map. Crisis Track automatically populates location fields with information about that address.

    • Enter the location's latitude and longitude in the corresponding fields.

  3. After you select a location, add a Name and Description for the resource.

  4. Enter a name for the resource location.

  5. Select the type of resource location, such as Pet-Friendly Shelter or Non-Congregate Shelter.

  6. Select or clear the status for the resource location. By default, the resource location is Active.

  7. Select the symbol that best fits your resource type. Edit the size if necessary.

  8. Click Save.
