Publish Profiles

In DesignStudio, publish profiles allow you to publish boards into one or more WebEOC environments by following a sequence of steps that take place in the process. Publish profiles can include a single step, or they can be more complex with multiple steps. In DesignStudio, these steps are called connections.

Connections are links to your WebEOC instances or environments. For example, you might have connections to one or more of the following environments: development, quality assurance (QA), training, production, and/or Fusion.

Using publish profiles, you can test your changes in one or more WebEOC environments (with different URLs) before you commit the changes to the production board. For example, if you have a staging WebEOC and a live WebEOC, you can publish to the staging WebEOC and verify that everything is correct before you publish to the live version.

When you publish to each step in a publish profile, you can name the step (for example, Staging and Live). Naming steps allows you to publish the same board multiple times. If you are using multiple environments for WebEOC, each step could publish to a different instance of WebEOC.

To create or manage publish profiles, you must be an Administrator with Service Account type permissions. Configure this account in WebEOC.
