Radio Button Component

The Radio component inserts radio buttons on the canvas.

The Radio component is supported in the Input view.

Radio Settings Window

The following settings are available.

Field Description Procedure

Label

A unique identifier that briefly describes the radio button set on the user interface.

Enter between 2 - 50 alphanumeric characters, excluding special characters

DB Field Name

A unique identifier that briefly describes the component in the database table.

Enter between 2 - 50 alphanumeric characters, excluding special characters

Help Text

The tooltip that appears when the pointer is over the radio buttons.

Enter between 2 - 50 alphanumeric characters, excluding special characters

Options

The radio button characteristics.

Do any of the following actions:

  • Click + Value to insert a new line (radio button).

  • Click the Pencil icon to edit the Label or Value for the radio button.

  • Click the checkmark to accept the input.

  • Click the X to cancel the input.

  • Click the Delete icon to delete the radio button from the set.

  • Drag the double-ellipsis up or down to change the order of the radio buttons.

Conditional Settings

The component only appears when certain conditions in relation to another component are met.

The following tool icons are available.

Settings Icon

Settings

Displays the settings window, in which you can modify the component’s label, database field name, help text, and conditional settings.

  1. In Design mode, click the component on the canvas. A toolbar appears on the top right.

  2. Click the Settings icon.

  3. Modify the fields as needed. See Add Board Components.

  4. Click Done.

Move Icon

Move

Moves the component to another position on the board.

This option is useful with touch pages. If you are not using a touch page, you can drag the component to its new location.

 
Copy Icon

Copy

Copies the current component and its settings and pastes it after the current component.

  1. In Design mode, click the component on the canvas. A toolbar appears on the top right.

  2. Click the icon.

  3. In the settings window, modify the details, as needed.

  4. Click Done. The new component is inserted after the original component.

Delete Icon

Delete

Deletes the current component.

Click the Delete icon.
