eICS 5.3.2 Release Notes

These notes describe updates in the eICS 5.3.2 release scheduled for Thursday, September 26, 2024. More information is available through the help in your solution or by contacting the Juvare Support Center at +1 (877) 771-0911 or support@juvare.com.

Enhancements

  • Managing Plans: On the Plan Summary page, when you create or edit a plan, you can now only add contacts from the facility selected in the Summary for menu.

  • Contact Details: On the Contacts page, administrators can now change the Allowed to log in setting for existing contacts. Previously, you could only change this setting when updating contacts using the Contact Template.

    This change does not affect clients using the Opt-In Features described below.

Resolution

Ad Hoc Notifications: If you use the Ad Hoc Notifications premium feature, resolved an issue that prevented these notifications from displaying on the mobile app.

The Ad Hoc Notifications feature is separate from Ad-Hoc Alerts.

Opt-In Features

Clients can opt in to access new features for managing contacts, sharing files, and sending notifications. If your organization has not opted in yet, these features are not visible in your eICS solution, and the updates do not affect you. For more information, see Opt-In Features.

This release include various accessibility enhancements to the opt-in features, as well as the following updates.

Accounts

  • Inactive Account Status: eICS can now send incident Notifications to accounts with the Inactive account status.

  • Accounts Page: By default, the Accounts page now only lists active accounts. You can adjust the filters to show inactive or closed accounts.

Organizations

The following enhancements make eICS more accessible when you work with organizations.

  • Page Headers: The Organizations page header now includes the number of organizations you can access.

  • Status Badges: Badges located next to organization names indicate your membership in an organization.

  • Pending Memberships: Administrators can filter for organizations with pending memberships by selecting Show Pending Only. The number of pending memberships is displayed for each organization.

  • Selecting Organizations: The menu used throughout eICS to select organizations is more accessible for screen readers.

Ad-Hoc Alerts

  • Long Message: When creating a notification, you can click and drag the border of the Long Message box to make it larger.

  • Test Notifications: When you send a test notification while creating an email notification, resolved an issue in which eICS sent the test notification to the email addresses in the CC Email Address field. Now, the test notification is only sent to the email address you enter after clicking Test Notification.

  • Templates: Resolved an issue that prevented you from sending a notification using a template that included deleted groups as recipients.
