eICS 5.8 Release Notes

New Features

Search Positions in the ICS Chart

On the ICS Chart tab of the Incident Dashboard, you can now search for positions or contacts by name.

Enhancements

  • HICS 258 Form: In the 258 Hospital Resource Directory, the contact's organization is displayed in the Personal Contact and Contact Name columns.

  • Resource Requests: When you create a Incident Dashboard Resource Requests as part of an incident, it only appears in that incident. Previously, resource requests could appear in other incidents for the same facility. This change will not remove existing resource requests from any incidents.

    Resource requests are part of the Coordinated Response premium plug-in.

Opt-In Features

Clients can opt in to enable new features for managing contacts, sharing files, and sending notifications. If you have not opted in, these features are not enabled and do not affect you yet. You may request to opt in at any time as we continue to update these features. For more information, see Opt-In Features.

This release includes the following enhancement to the opt-in features:

Accounts: The Primary Employer field in accounts now syncs to the Organization field in contacts.
