Set up Patient Import File
Whether you download the ready-to-use template or upload your own file, certain information must be provided in the file.
To successfully import patient data, the following patient import file best practices include:

Download the provided template file on the Import tab. This file contains the correct column headers and multiple-choice drop-down lists are automatically mapped upon upload.

Use a Microsoft Excel® or CSV files are accepted formats. (Excel® is preferred)
Some characters, such as apostrophes and quotation marks, may cause an upload failure in a comma-separated value (CSV) file.

Include a header row (optional) for the solution to automatically map columns to the correct EMTrack Field Names instead of manually mapping each row to the correct column header every time you upload a file.

When a template file is downloaded, the information populated in the drop-down lists are region specific. For example, if Region A has a different Triage Category list than Region B, the templates from those regions will reflect those differences. The import will fail if the template has a selected value that is not valid for the region.

The example row in the template file is for reference only, and can be left in the template file or be removed. Data in the example row should not be modified.

Each patient record in the file must contain a (primary) patient ID.

Provide only one value for height (ft' in" or cm).
-
Provide only one value for weight (lbs or kg).
-
Unused columns can be deleted.
