2026 Board Release Notes

These notes describe enhancements and resolutions introduced to Unified Command Platform boards in 2026. Releases are listed in reverse chronological order, with the most recent releases at the top. More information is available through the help in your solution or by contacting the Juvare Support Center at +1 (877) 771-0911 or support@juvare.com.

Boards can be downloaded from the Unified Command Platform Boards Downloads page. Standard boards are available for download without a license key. All other board types (premium, add-on, and industry) require a license key to install. Contact your Client Success Manager (CSM) for additional information.

New Boards

Maintenance Management 1.0 Add on board icon

Add-on boards must be purchased separately and require a license key to import. Once they are imported, they cannot be exported. Contact your Client Success Manager (CSM) for more information.

The Maintenance Management Board is designed to help organizations track assets, manage work orders, control parts inventory, and document maintenance activity in one coordinated workflow. Built for operational teams that need accountability and visibility, it supports day-to-day maintenance requests, scheduled upkeep, and lifecycle tracking.

With structured records for Assets, Work Orders, Maintenance Logs, Parts, Vendors, and Cost Centers, the solution helps teams plan work, assign responsibility, monitor progress, and maintain an audit-ready history of changes and actions.

Key Capabilities

  • Centralized Asset Management: Maintain a complete inventory of assets with status, location, lifecycle details, and supporting documentation in a single system of record.

  • Work Order Tracking: Create, assign, prioritize, and track maintenance work orders from request through completion, including due dates, assignments, and labor hours.

  • Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Log maintenance activities and track next-due maintenance dates based on defined intervals.

  • Parts & Inventory Control: Manage parts availability, usage, minimum thresholds, and reorder tracking to reduce downtime and prevent shortages.

  • Asset-to-Work Order Coordination: Link assets and parts directly to work orders, automatically updating asset status and maintaining operational alignment.

  • Cost & Vendor Oversight: Associate assets and maintenance activity with cost centers and vendors to support budgeting, purchasing, and accountability.

PowerOutage.com Integration 1.0 Add on board icon

The PowerOutage.com Integration Board brings comprehensive power outage intelligence directly into Unified Command Platform, enabling emergency managers, utilities, and government agencies to monitor and respond to electrical disruptions at every level—from national trends down to individual counties and cities.

By integrating near real-time and planned outage data from PowerOutage.com, this board delivers a centralized, authoritative view of current and upcoming power impacts. Users gain immediate situational awareness through interactive dashboards and geographic filtering, supporting faster coordination, informed decision-making, and improved incident response during weather events, infrastructure failures, and large-scale emergencies.

This integration ensures power outage information is seamlessly incorporated into existing Unified Command Platform workflows, eliminating the need to reference external systems while supporting operational planning, resource allocation, and executive briefings.

Installation and use of this board requires a license key and the PowerOutage.com Juvare Connector. For assistance, contact Juvare Support.

Press Releases DS 1.0 Standard Icon

The Press Releases DS Board is designed to streamline the creation, review, approval, and publication of official communications. Built for fast-moving operational environments, it gives public information teams and leadership a single place to draft press releases, manage approval workflows, and maintain a clean record of what was published and when.

With structured fields for release content, attachments, approval status, and publication timing, the Press Releases DS board supports consistent messaging and audit-ready documentation from first draft to final release.

Key Capabilities

  • Press Release Drafting: Capture a clear Title, select a Release Type, and compose the Release Text (HTML-enabled) in a single, structured entry form.

  • Attachments Support: Upload and associate supporting files (documents, media, references, or prepared assets) directly to each press release record.

  • Authoring Details: Record who the release was Written By to preserve authorship and streamline follow-up or edits.

  • Approval Workflow: Track Approval Status via dropdown selection and document who Approved By, supporting consistent sign-off and internal controls.

  • Publication Tracking: Set and record Published Date/Time to establish an authoritative timeline of release activity.

  • Comments & Notes: Capture internal Comments for context, edits requested, or approval notes without cluttering the public-facing release text.

  • DesignStudio Ready: Fully customizable in DesignStudio with a responsive layout for desktop and mobile use.

Board Enhancements

Event Reporting 1.3 Standard Icon

  • ICS 214 Creation: Added the ability for users to generate ICS 214 forms from the Activity Log view.

    • Select an operational period to automatically pull the current user’s Activity Log entries into the ICS 214.

      This new ability applies to records created after importing the Event Reporting 1.3 Board.

    • Manually enter resources and activities if needed.

    • Add a signature to the form by drawing directly on the view, typing, or uploading an image.

  • The Description field can now be made optional on record update through the Settings view. The field will always be required on record creation.

  • A user’s “real name” will be shown in the description history timestamps. If a “real name” is not available, the username will be show in its place.

  • Added the ability to post records directly to Significant Events from the Controller Review Display view using the dropdown ellipses.

  • Added the ability to remove records from Significant Events from the Controller Review Display view using the dropdown ellipses.

  • Adjusted filter pill text color to match other standard boards.

    Event Reporting (HC) 1.3 and Education Event Reporting 1.3 are currently scheduled to be released in March 2026 and will include the above enhancements.

Resolutions

Event Reporting 1.3 Standard Icon

Resolved an issue that prevented a calendar picker from appearing when the user attempted to filter the Significant Events dashboard by a date range.

Incident Action Plan 4.3.3 Standard Icon

  • ICS 204: Resolved an issue in the IAP Builder where clicking Edit on a resource or communications record did not open the edit dialog.

  • Updated PDF styling to reduce the occurrence of page breaks rendering inappropriately within forms.

  • Improved visibility of ICS 204 position assignment location.
