Education Boards Industry Board icon

Industry boards require a license key to import. Once they are imported, they cannot be exported. Contact your Client Success Manager (CSM) for more information.

The Education Board Set addresses specific use cases in conjunction with the standard boards.

To set up the boards

  1. Import the board.

  2. Create a feature group and assign the board to the feature group for user access. When you add or edit the board for a feature group, enter the following information:

    Field Description Valid Values

    Default Label

    The name for the board as you want it to appear on the Boards menu.

    Any combination of up to 200 alphanumeric characters, excluding special characters.

    Input

    The view that allows you to add records to the board.

    Assign input views through board permissions; set this field to None.

    Select None.

    Display

    The view that displays when a board is opened.

    Select one assignable display view as defined below.

    Device Type

    The type of device the board is intended for display on.

    Select one of the following options:

    • Desktop

    • Mobile

    • Desktop and Mobile

    View Filters

    The filters that determine what data is visible on the board.

    Unlike the filter/search feature that you can add to a board to help you find data, the view filters limit the visibility of data.

    If applicable, select a filter according to the board specifications.

    Board Permissions Tags

    The actions that feature group members can perform on the board.

    Select one or more permissions according to the board specifications.

  4. Click Save.

  • Dashboard Campus Assessment - Summarizes campus assessment totals.

  • Dashboard Individual Assessment - Summarizes individual assessment totals.

Event Reporting


  • Activity Log Display - Displays activity log records created by any user assigned to the current position.

  • Controller Review Display - Displays all records, with designated controllers to manage significant events.

  • Dashboard - Summarizes significant event record totals.

  • Significant Events Display - Displays all records designated as Significant Events and allows for navigation to the Dashboard view.

Dependency

  • This board is connected to the Facility Status board.

  • The Location field is a typeahead drop-down list that references facility records.

  • If a facility is selected in the Location field, that record will be listed on the Facility Status Details view for that facility's record.

Board Naming Convention

This board should be named Event Reporting 9.0 Education for the Facility Status linking to function properly.

Facility Status
  • List Facilities - Displays facility records and allows for navigation to the Dashboard view.

  • Dashboard - Summarizes facility status totals.

This board should be named Facility Status 9.0 Education, otherwise, the connection to other boards will be broken.

Incident Creator
  • Incident List - Displays incidents that have been created from the board.

  • Contact List - Displays contacts that have been created from the board.

  • Delete Contact - Remove contacts from a List view

  • Edit Contact - Update contacts

Requests Tasks
  • List - Displays resource request and task assignment records, and allows navigation to the Dashboard view and other views via assigned board permissions.

  • Dashboard - Summarizes request/task totals.

  • List - Deployments - Displays all deployment records.

  • List - Finance - Displays all finance records.

My Assignments and Requests - Limits records to those created by or currently assigned to the user's position. Meant to be assigned at the group level.

Allows users to:

  • Create - Create resource request and task assignment records.

  • Delete - Remove resource request and task assignment records.

  • Deployments - Create/Update - Create deployment records and update existing deployment records. Must be assigned in conjunction with the Deployments - View board permission.

  • Deployments - Delete - Remove deployment records. Must be assigned in conjunction with the Deployments - View board permission.

  • Deployments - View - View the deployments portion of the board. Must be assigned for a user to be able to create/update deployment records.

  • Finance - Create/Update - Create finance records and update existing finance records. Must be assigned in conjunction with the Finance - View board permission.

  • Finance - Delete - Remove finance records. Must be assigned in conjunction with the Finance - View board permission.

  • Finance - View - View the finance portion of the board. Must be assigned for a user to be able to create/update finance records.

  • Open Assignment - Assign resource request and task assignment records directly to other WebEOC Nexus positions.

  • Update - Update existing resource request and task assignment records.
