Set Up Asset Tracking with FleetUp Board 
To set up the Asset Tracking with FleetUp board

When you add or edit the board for a feature group, use the following table to guide your settings configuration.
Asset Tracking with FleetUp configuration Field Description Valid Values Default Label The name for this board as you want it to appear in the menu. Any combination of up to 200 alphanumeric characters, excluding special characters. Input The view, which allows you to add records to the board, that you want to assign to the feature group.
Input views are mainly assigned using board permissions and this field is left as None.
Select None. Display The view, which appears when a board is opened, that you want to assign to the feature group. Select this option:
List - Trackers: Shows all of your tracker records.
Device Type Indicates the type of device on which the board is primarily intended for display. Select one of the following options:

Desktop

Mobile
-
Desktop and Mobile
View Filters The filters that determine what data is visible on the board.
Unlike the filter/search feature that you can add to a board to help you find data, the view filters limit the visibility of data.
Do not modify the filters in this setting.
Board Permissions Tags The actions that feature group members can perform on the board.
Select one or more of the following options:

Delete - Settings: Allows the user to remove API records.

Delete - Tracker: Allows the user to remove tracker records.

Profiles - Create: Allows the user to access, create, and update profiles for different products and device types. Users without the Settings permission will be taken directly to the Profiles view.

Profiles - Delete: Allows the user to remove profiles.

Settings: Allows the user the ability to update API settings.

Tracker - Update: Allows the user the ability to update tracker records.

Click Save.

Navigate to the newly assigned board from a position that has the Settings tab and click the Settings button.

Enter your FleetUp API information here. Once the JX Connector is running, it will use the credentials within your Settings tab and multiple sets of API credentials can be provided to access any additional accounts that may exist.

Select the Profiles tab and configure one default profile and optionally add any others.

There are default configurations based on the device type and customization as to what column, labels, and types of fields can be set.

If tracker records already exist in the board, a tracker can be selected and all fields from the device will appear for configuration.

If the devices within a profile need to be restricted from viewing, the positions that access is limited to can be selected and others users assigned to that position will be unable to view the devices.

After tracker records start appearing on the board, they will use the default profile. You may edit these trackers and reassign them to any of the profiles you have created.
