To set up the Personnel Staffing Board

  1. Import the board.

  2. Create a feature group and assign the board to the feature group for user access.

  3. When you add or edit the board for a feature group, enter this information.

    Field Description Valid Values
    Default Label The name for this board as you want it to appear in the menu. Any combination of up to 200 alphanumeric characters, excluding special characters.
    Input

    The view, which allows you to add records to the board, that you want to assign to the feature group.

    Input views are mainly assigned using board permissions and this field is left as None.

    None.
    Display The view, which appears when a board is opened, that you want to assign to the feature group.

    Select one of the following options:

    • List - Assignments (User): Lists assignment records associated with the current user.

    • List - Sites: Lists all site records. Gives admin/controller functionality. Connects (through tabs) to Personnel, Schedule and Assignment list views.

    Device Type Indicates the type of device on which the board is primarily intended for display.

    Select one of the following options:

    • Desktop

    • Mobile

    • Desktop and Mobile

    View Filters Determines what data is visible on the board. Unlike the filter/search feature that can be added to a board, which helps you find data, the view filters limit the visibility of the data.

    None.

    Board Permissions Tags Identifies what actions users are able to perform on the board.

    Select one or more of the following options:

    • Personnel - Create/Update: Allows you to create and update personnel records.

    • Personnel - Delete: Allows you to hide (not delete) personnel records from views using filters.

    • Positions - Create/Update: Allows you to create and update position records.

    • Positions - Delete: Allows you to hide (not delete) position records from views using filters.

    • Schedules - Create/Update: Allows you to create and update schedule records.

    • Schedules - Delete: Allows you to hide (not delete) schedule records from views using filters.

    • Sites - Create/Update: Allows you to create and update site records.

    • Sites - Delete: Allows you to hide (not delete) site records from views using filters.

  5. Click Save.
