When prompted, you must enter your license key.

To set up the Plan Builder board set

  1. Import the Plan Builder Template, Working, and Published boards.

    When you import these boards, import them in the order specified below and name them as indicated in the Board Name column.

  3. Assign the boards to a feature group.

  4. When you assign the boards to a feature group, assign the appropriate display views and permissions; otherwise, users may not have access to the correct information.

  5. When you add or edit the board for a feature group, enter this information.

    Field Description Valid Values
    Default Label The name for this board as you want it to appear in the menu. Any combination of up to 200 alphanumeric characters, excluding special characters.
    Input

    The view, which allows you to add records to the board, that you want to assign to the feature group.

    Input views are mainly assigned using board permissions and this field is left as None.

    None.
    Display

    The view, which appears when a board is opened, that you want to assign to the feature group.

    Admins can assign the 'View All' display views. Other positions should assign the default list.

    Select one of the following for each board: 

    Plan Builder (Template)

    • Template - List

    Plan Builder (Working)

    • Working - List

    • Working - List - View All

      Selecting List displays only the plans assigned to your position (via the Assigned Positions field under Plan Details). Selecting List – View All displays every plan, regardless of assignment.

    • Dashboard

    Plan Builder (Published)

    • Published - List

    • Published - List - View All

      Selecting List displays only the plans assigned to your position (via the Assigned Positions field under Plan Details). Selecting List – View All displays every plan, regardless of assignment.

    Device Type Indicates the type of device on which the board is primarily intended for display.

    Select one of the following options:

    • Desktop

    • Mobile

    • Desktop and Mobile

    View Filters Determines what data is visible on the board. Unlike the filter/search feature that can be added to a board, which helps you find data, the view filters limit the visibility of the data. None.
    Board Permissions Tags Identifies what actions users are able to perform on the board.

    Select one of these:

    Plan Builder (Template)

    • Delete: Allows user to delete plan templates.

    Plan Builder (Working)

    • Delete: Allows user to delete working plans that they have access to.

    • Plan Manager: Allows user to fully edit working plans, add/edit/delete all standard and custom components, and add/edit/delete all attachments. Can also submit a plan for approval.

    • Plan Editor: Allows user to edit standard and custom components, and add/edit/delete all attachments. Can also submit a plan for approval.

    • Limited Update: Allows user to update plan components that have been assigned to their position.

    • Limited Attachment: Allows user to add attachments and also edit attachments that their user account has created.

    • Plan Approver: Allows user to approve working plan.

    • Plan Publisher: Allows user to publish working plan.

    Plan Builder (Published)

    • Delete: Allows user to delete published plans.

  7. Click Save.
