Set Up the Requests and Tasks Board 
To set up the Requests and Tasks Board

Create a feature group and assign the board to the feature group for user access.

When you add or edit the board for a feature group, enter this information.
Requests and Tasks configuration Field Description Valid Values Default Label The name for this board as you want it to appear in the menu. Any combination of up to 200 alphanumeric characters, excluding special characters. Input The view, which allows you to add records to the board, that you want to assign to the feature group.
Input views are mainly assigned using board permissions and this field is left as None.
None. Display The view, which appears when a board is opened, that you want to assign to the feature group. Select one of the following options:

List: Shows resource request and task assignment records.

Dashboard: Dashboard view summarizing request/task totals.

List - Deployments: Shows all deployment records.

List - Finance: Shows all finance records.
Device Type Indicates the type of device on which the board is primarily intended for display. Select one of the following options:

Desktop
-
Mobile
-
Desktop and Mobile
View Filters Determines what data is visible on the board. Unlike the filter/search feature that can be added to a board, which helps you find data, the view filters limit the visibility of the data. My Assignments and Requests: Restricts the List view to only records created by or assigned to the current position.
All other filters are used by on-screen controls (filter buttons/dropdowns) and should not be assigned by default.
Board Permissions Tags Identifies what actions users are able to perform on the board. Select one or more of the following options:

Create: Allows the user to create resource request and task assignment records.

Delete: Allows the user to remove resource request and task assignment records.
Records are not deleted. They are hidden from views using filters.

Deployments - Create/Update: Allows the user to create deployment records and update existing deployment records. Must be assigned in conjunction with the “Deployments - View” board permission.

Deployments - Delete: Allows the user to remove deployment records. Must be assigned in conjunction with the “Deployments - View” board permission.

Deployments - View: Allows the user to see the deployments portion of the board. This board permission must be assigned for a user to be able to create/update deployment records.

Finance - Create/Update: Allows the user to create finance records and update existing finance records. Must be assigned in conjunction with the “Finance - View” board permission.

Finance - Delete: Allows the user to remove finance records. Must be assigned in conjunction with the “Finance - View” board permission.

Finance - View: Allows the user to see the finance portion of the board. This board permission must be assigned for a user to be able to create/update finance records.

Open Assignment: Allows the user to assign resource request and task assignment records directly to other WebEOC Nexus positions.

Update: Allows the user to update existing resource request and task assignment records.

Click Save.
