To set up the Shelters with Registration Board

Create a feature group and assign the board to the feature group for user access. When adding or editing the board for a feature group, use the following table to guide your settings configuration.
Shelters with Registration configuration Field Description Valid Values Default Label The name for this board as you want it to appear in the menu. Any combination of up to 200 alphanumeric characters, excluding special characters. Input The view that allows you to add records to the board.
Assign input views through board permissions; set this field to None.
Select None.
Display The view that displays when a board is opened.
Select one of the following options:

List: Shows only "activated" shelter records.

List - Management: Shows all shelter records.

Dashboard: Shows summarizing shelter totals.
Device Type Indicates the type of device on which the board is primarily intended for display.
Select one of the following options:

Desktop
-
Mobile
-
Desktop and Mobile
View Filters The filters that determine what data is visible on the board.
Unlike the filter/search feature that you can add to a board to help you find data, the view filters limit the visibility of data.
Do not modify the filters in this setting.
Board Permissions Tags The actions that feature group members can perform on the board.
Select one or more of the following options:

Create: Allows users to create new shelter records.

Delete: Allows users to remove shelter records from view.
Records are not permanently deleted; they are hidden from views using filters.

Update: Allows users to update existing shelter records.

Configure Fields: Allows users to configure the shelter capability fields for all shelter records.

Activate Shelters: Allows users to activate/deactivate shelters on the management view.

Add Guest: Allows users to create new guest records (the View Guests boardpermission must also be selected).

Delete Guest: Allows users to remove guest records from the view (the View Guests boardpermission must also be selected).
Records are not permanently deleted; they are hidden from views using filters.

Update Guest: Allows users to update guest records (the View Guests boardpermission must also be selected).

View Guests: Allows users to view anything relating to guests (guest list, guest related cards in dashboard, guests child table).
