Admin Area Versus Admin View: Updates for WebEOC Nexus 10.8

This table highlights the differences between the Admin Area interface, used in WebEOC Nexus 10.7 and earlier, and the Admin View interface, introduced in WebEOC Nexus 10.8.

    These new icons only display for administrators.

The admin view icon is visible in User View. The user view icon is visible in Admin View.

Homepage icon Homepage Icon

The homepages icon has moved to the main menu and is renamed Homepage Builder. Homepage Builder Icon

Help icon is next to support information on home page

Help icon Help Icon in Admin View is now in the Top bar, in the same place as the User help icon in User View.

The help icon in User View opens the User Help Center. The help icon in Admin View opens the Admin help center.

Admin Area icon is removed.

Admin View does not open in a separate tab.

 

Home tab had system and support information.

Home icon on main menu brings you to new administrator home page.

New administrator home page contains:

  • Quick Actions, which cannot be customized:

    • Create A User

    • Create Incident

    • View Boards

  • Three most recently edited boards

  • Server and system information

  

Server/system Information on home tab had:

  • Customer ID

  • Version Organization

  • Build Number

  • Pullservice Status

  • Pullservice Last Executed

  • Database Size

Updated server/system information on administrator homepage now has:

  • Pullservice Status

  • Last Executed

  • Database Size

  • Customer ID

  • Version/Build number

  • Organization

  • Active Sessions

  • Old View Support Information included a link to the Technical Support site, which is not included in the new UI. All other support information is included in 10.8.

  • The Database Size window, which displayed a pie chart with an overview of the WebEOC Nexus database space currently in use by specific elements, has been removed from 10.8.

Admin Area Help Icon

The help icon was accessible on the home tab in previous versions, as indicated here. Now, access the Admin Help Center in the Top bar by clicking the help icon Help Icon.
