Admin View Landing Pages and Tabs

The main menu’s icons allow you to access features and functions grouped by landing pages into tabs. Tabs provide better context for the functions found within each landing page. For example, as you work in the Groups tab, you can see that Users, Positions, and Sessions are also managed from the Accounts landing page.

Your administrator type and position control the icons that display in the main menu.

Administrator types include:

Tabs appear in logical order. The most common tasks appear first. For example, tasks related to managing users are more commonly used than those available for Sessions.

The following table summarizes each Admin Manager, grouped by landing pages.

Home

Displays Quick Actions, recent boards, and server and support information.

Accounts

Contains the following managers:

  • Users: Configure user accounts and assign credentials that enable users to access WebEOC Nexus. Credentials include usernames and passwords.

  • Positions: Assign users to positions in WebEOC Nexus.

  • Groups: Create groups and establish access privileges to incidents, boards, plug-ins, links, menus, dashboards, and maps.

  • Sessions: View a list of users currently logged in to WebEOC Nexus and, when appropriate, terminate user login sessions.

  • JX User Groups: Create groups and establish access privileges. Fields on this tab only display if Juvare Exchange (JX) has been configured in WebEOC Nexus.

  • JX Groups: Create groups and establish access privileges for JX. Fields on this tab only display if JX has been configured in WebEOC Nexus.

  • Organizations: Create organizations consisting of users, positions, and groups and assign them to sub-administrators who manage them.

Incidents

Contains the following managers:

  • Incidents: Create and manage incidents to track and relay information specific to the incident, filter your active and inactive incident data for reporting and viewing purposes, and convert inactive incidents to active incidents.

  • Master Views: View all incidents that have been added to that view. Create new, edit existing, or delete unwanted master views.

  • Reporter: Create pre-formatted or ad hoc reports that can be added as links to the main menu.

  • Simulator: Create and manually or automatically post scenario injects to the appropriate status boards during a drill or exercise.

Workflows

Contains the following managers:

  • Boards: Design, create, and maintain an unlimited number of boards and forms.

  • Dashboards: Design, create, configure and maintain your WebEOC Nexus dashboards and define user views.

  • Menus: Group boards, links, plug-ins, or other menus in any combination under a single link (menu) on the main menu.

  • Links: Set up and configure hyperlinks to URLs, other systems, or files.

  • Lists: Create and manage lists of items that users can select when updating certain fields on status boards and forms.

Mapping

Contains the following managers:

  • Maps: Configure elements of the integrated Maps solution.

  • Geocoders: Fields on this tab only display if the Maps add-on is licensed on the System Settings page on the General tab.

  • Layers: Create map layers. Fields on this tab only display if the Maps add-on is licensed on the System Settings page on the General tab.

Integrations

Contains plug-in configurations and add-on managers.

Notifications

Contains the following managers:

  • Queue: Monitor and control emails, status, and details that are sent.

  • Schedule: Create notification schedules and monitor and control emails, status, and details that are on a schedule.

  • Webhooks: Configure webhooks. Fields on this tab only display if the Webhooks license has been entered on the System Settings page on the General tab.

  • Email Configuration: Configure an SMTP server to use either open relay or secure authentication.

Homepage Builder

Allows you to manage user homepages.

The administrator homepage is pre-configured and cannot be updated.

System Settings

Contains the following managers:

  • General: Set up and manage user security, message options, and other miscellaneous options. Also, enter licenses for add-ons and notification webhooks

  • Admin Profiles: Establish a predefined set of specific administrator privileges that can be applied as a template to a group of users. You can add, edit, or delete admin profiles.

  • Branding: Define agency-specific system options. Select an agency name and logos.

  • Policies and Communications: Configure login messages and system-wide messages that display on user homepages, define agency terms and conditions, and set up the email content for forgotten password or username emails.

  • Services: Configure settings for the URL, Client Name and Key, Enable Juvare Exchange (JX), the Alert Service, and file storage.

  • Audit Log: View user login information, clear the log, and use the search feature to search for specific events. The log tracks, records, and displays (in a predefined format) events that have occurred in WebEOC Nexus.

  • WebEOC Fusion: Set up and manage your Fusion connections.
