Announcements A message displayed in the application to share general information or updates with users. are messages that administrators can post inside the solution. Announcements have a title and body, a date range during which they are active, and access parameters (public for all users that log in to your solution or limited to select organizations Official entities, such as public health authorities, healthcare agencies, and corporations. for users that log in and belong to specific organizations).

For example, use an Announcement to share general information, such as a scheduled maintenance update. Use a Notification An alert, update, advisory, information, drill, or test message that can be sent & received through delivery methods such as email, voice, text, fax, or inbox. to send urgent alerts An alert, update, advisory, information, drill, or test message that can be sent & received through delivery methods such as email, voice, text, fax, or inbox., such as a public health emergency.

Organization Admins are only able to share announcements with their organizations.

The titles of up to three of the most recently created active announcements appear on the homepage. When you click to learn more about an announcement or see all announcements, a panel on the right opens listing the announcements. With the appropriate permissions, you can create new announcements, filter announcements by status, and edit and delete announcements.
