New Features

Custom Operational Periods

Administrators can now create custom operational periods for domains or facilities. These periods function like the default operational periods, except you can customize the names and order. This can help you track the progress of your incidents and organize objectives more effectively. For more information, see Custom Operational Periods.

Adding or changing custom operational periods only affects incidents created thereafter, not existing incidents.

Enhancements

  • Objective Statuses: When you create or edit an Objective Statuses, you can now mark it as final. A final status generally indicates that no further action can be taken for that objective. If an objective has a final status when the incident's operational period changes, eICS will not copy the objective to the new operational period. This feature can help reduce clutter on your objectives list.

The Is Final field on the Edit Objective Status Window

  • Forms and Reports: When generating most forms, you can now specify an operational period to pull data from. The form will exclude any event log entries outside of the selected operational period. Note that the form will not exclude any objectives. This change affects all forms and reports except for Response Tracker, Objective Status History, After Action Report, and Improvement Plan.
