Enhancements

HICS Reports: The 205A Incident Communications Plan and 207 Organization Chart forms are updated to follow the latest HICS 2014 guidelines. This includes new sections and the ability to export the forms in PDF and .docx formats.

Under the previous HICS IV guidelines, the HICS 205A form was named HICS 205.

With this release, all HICS forms are updated to follow the latest HICS 2014 guidelines. HICS IV plans are still supported, but the forms now use the HICS 2014 guidelines.

Changed Features

ICS Chart Filters: On the ICS Chart of the Incident Dashboard, the Show Health System Contacts filter is renamed to the Show All Facility Contacts filter. This filter's functionality is unchanged, meaning it still displays all external contacts in the Labor Pool and Other Contacts to Notify groups for all facilities in your health system.

Opt-In Features

Clients can opt in to enable new features for managing contacts, sharing files, and sending notifications. If you have not opted in, these features are not enabled and do not affect you yet. You may request to opt in at any time as we continue to update these features. For more information, see Opt-In Features.

This release includes the following enhancement to the opt-in features:

Sync Facility Groups and Coalitions: Facility groups and Coalitions now sync to organization networks.

For example, let's say you have 15 Facilities linked in a coalition. Previously, each of those facilities synced to 15 organizations, but those organizations were not linked to each other. In other words, the coalition was not reflected in the corresponding organizations. Now, those 15 corresponding organizations are automatically linked together in an organization network. The network inherits its name and parent organization from the coalition's name and leading facility.

If an organization network is automatically generated in this way, you cannot manually edit the network. Instead, you must edit the corresponding facility group or coalition. Any changes to the facility group or coalition are automatically reflected in the network.
