Set Up the Crisis Track Board Standard Icon

To set up the Crisis Track board

  1. Import the board.

  2. Create a feature group and assign the board to the feature group for user access.

  3. When you add or edit the board for a feature group, enter this information.

    Field Description Valid Values
    Default Label The name for this board as you want it to appear in the menu. Any combination of up to 200 alphanumeric characters, excluding special characters.
    Input

    The view, which allows you to add records to the board, that you want to assign to the feature group.

    Input views are mainly assigned using board permissions and this field is left as None.

    None.
    Display The view, which appears when a board is opened, that you want to assign to the feature group.

    Select one of the following options:

    • List - Commercial Damage: Lists commercial damage assessments with links to other views that are available according to board permissions.

    • List - Debris: Lists debris assessments with links to other views that are available according to board permissions.

    • List - Protective Measures: Lists protective measures assessments with links to other views that are available according to board permissions.

    • List - Public Damage: Lists public damage assessments with links to other views that are available according to board permissions.

    • List - Residential Damage: Lists residential damage assessments with links to other views that are available according to board permissions.

    • Dashboard: Summarizes damage assessments in a graphical display.

    Device Type Indicates the type of device on which the board is primarily intended for display.

    Select one of the following options:

    • Desktop

    • Mobile

    • Desktop and Mobile

    View Filters Determines what data is visible on the board. Unlike the filter/search feature that can be added to a board, which helps you find data, the view filters limit the visibility of the data.

    No need to add or adjust these.

    Board Permissions Tags Identifies what actions users are able to perform on the board.

    Select one or more of the following options:

    • Residential: View residential assessments from Crisis Track.

    • Public: View public assessments from Crisis Track.

    • Commercial: View commercial assessments from Crisis Track.

    • Debris: View debris assessments from Crisis Track.

    • Protective Measures: View protective measures assessments from Crisis Track.

  5. Click Save.

Set Damage Threshold Amount

You can add a damage threshold amount, a dollar amount in damages that must be met before a disaster can be officially declared. The dashboard will display the threshold amount, the amount remaining before reaching the threshold, and a graphical representation of those numbers.

You can set the damage threshold amount by clicking the more icon More icon at the top right of the dashboard.
