Register for an Account

You can register to create your own account using the login page. After registering for an account, you will receive an email with instructions to complete the registration and create your account.

Depending on how your organization configures the self-registration page, these steps may not match what you see in the solution. If you have questions about your organization's self-registration page, reach out to your Client Admin.

To register an account

  1. On the login page, click Register. The Basic Information page opens.

  2. Enter this information.

    Your email address.

    First Name

    Your given name.

    Last Name

    Your surname.

    Address Line 1

    Your street address of your employer or office.

    City

    The city in which your employer or office is located.

    Zip Code The zip code in which your employer or office is located.

    State

    The state in which your employer or office is located.

    County/Tribe

    The county or tribe in which your employer or office resides.

    Work State The state in which you work.
  3. Click Next. The Identification page opens.

  4. Enter your Gender, Date of Birth, and your Social Security Number.

    The state requires volunteers to provide a social security number (SSN)for background checks. If you choose not to provide your SSN, the background check cannot be completed and your volunteer opportunities may be limited.

  5. Click Next. The Contact Details page opens.

  6. Enter and confirm your Primary Email. This is the email address that you use to log in with.

  7. Click Add Phone Number, Add Emergency Contact, and Add Pager Number then enter the requested information.

  8. Click Next. The Occupations page opens.

  9. Click Add Occupation, then select an Occupation Group and Occupation from the dynamic list.

  10. Select your Current Professional Status from the menu.

  11. Click Save. You can enter multiple occupations. When you are finished, click Next. The Organizations page opens.

  12. Click + Add Organizations.

  13. Search for the organization you want to join or select from the list shown. Click v to display child organizations.

  14. Click Select for each organization you want to join.

  15. In the lower right, click Select.

  16. Click Next. The Consent page opens.

  17. Enable the following consent checkboxes.

    You indicate that you understand the Privacy / Disclaimer / Copyright Policy for the site. You consent to the collection and use of this information and the transfer of this information across the Internet to processing and storage facilities supporting the system. You also agree to receive required administrative and legal notices such as this electronically.

    This is a required field.

    Correct Information

    You pledge that you provided only correct information when completing the registration process. You also give consent to the State Volunteer Registry and their designated agents to collect, use, verify, and maintain any information that is collected through the use of the site.

    This is a required field.

    Background Check

    You authorize the State Volunteer Registry and its designated representatives to investigate your background and qualifications for the purpose of determining whether you are qualified for the position(s), volunteer or employment, for which you are applying.

    This field is optional, but may be required for most volunteer assignments.

  18. Select the I'm not a robot reCAPTCHA checkbox.
  19. Click Submit. You will receive an email with instructions to complete your account registration.
