Settings

Located on the upper right, through the profile icon, Settings encompasses your profile and any administrative functions to which you have rights. If you do not have administrative rights, you will only see the Profile section.

Profile

Profile opens your account information. With details such as your name, username, password, and time zone, you can choose to edit your Personal Information or Display Language.

Admin Management

User Accounts

User Accounts opens a list of accounts in your solution. Accounts are listed by email address, along with organization, expiration date, and access and version indicators.

The plus sign icon, located to the right of User Accounts, allows you to add new accounts by entering an email address, name, rights, organization, and application access. Select the Enable invitation email checkbox to automatically send an email to the person. You can also enter an expiration date, after which, the user will no longer have access to DesignStudio or DesignStudio Pro. The email allows them to complete their account registration and access DesignStudio or DesignStudio Pro. See Account Management for details.

Board Settings

Connections

The first thing you see in Board Settings is a list of connections and the option to add a new connection. Connections are links to your WebEOC instances or environments. For example, you might have connections to one or more of the following environments: development, quality assurance (QA), training, production, and/or Fusion.

Connections are established using your WebEOC Service Account as Administrator credentials, and they allow you to pull and push information, including boards, between DesignStudio and WebEOC. Every time you access the Board Settings page, your connections are synced and validated. You can update your connection details at any time. See Add Publish Profiles for details.

Publishing

The next section in Board Settings is Publishing. Publishing allows you to create profiles that define the order in which boards are published to different connections. By establishing publishing profiles, you determine the best practices for publishing boards in different scenarios. For example, you might define a standard profile that requires publishing to the following connections: development, training, and then production. This would allow you to test and train on a new board before adding it to your production environment.

Even if you have only one connection, it is important to define a publishing profile because the profile determines where the board goes and with what name. See Publish Profiles for details.

Form Settings

Form Publish Profiles

Parallel in nature to board connections, form publish profiles is a list of linked WebEOC environments and the option to create new ones. For example, you might have links to one or more of the following environments: development, quality assurance (QA), training, production, and/or Fusion because, just like with boards, you can test your form before linking it to your production environment.

Publish profiles are established using your WebEOC Service Account as Administrator credentials and position, and they allow you to pull and push information, including forms, between DesignStudio Pro and WebEOC. Additional details about the date and time format, as well as time zone are also required. We recommend using the MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS format in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). See Publish a Form to WebEOC for details.

WebEOC Submits Tracking

Track the form submittals that you receive in WebEOC. Submittals are generated every time a form is completed and they identify the version, the submittal status, date it was submitted and processed, and the WebEOC URL to which it was submitted. Upon transmission, submittals obtain a unique identifier or Data ID. This information helps you correlate and troubleshoot any missing or delayed form submittals. See Track Submitted Forms for details.
