Data Source Configuration

Once a data source is added, you can configure it in several ways to fine-tune JAI’s output and improve the user experience:

  • Edit the data source’s name, board, and board view settings. See Edit Board Settings.

  • Control which data table columns are accessible to users, and customize column labels and example values to better match your use case. See Configure Available Columns.

  • Customize the set of columns displayed in general search results. See Configure Default Columns.

  • Disable or enable supplementary data related to positions, users, and incidents. See Manage Helper Tables.

  • Create and manage hints that help JAI recognize key patterns in user queries and respond more accurately to relevant keywords. See Add and Manage Hints.
