Create an Organization

As a Client Admin, you can create organizations. As an organization administrator, you can Create a Child Organization within that organization. For more information, see Organizations.

To create an organization

  1. On the main menu, select Organizations. The Organizations page opens.

  2. Click + Add Organization.

  3. Enter this information.

    Field Description

    Name

    Name of the organization

    Available in Organization List

    Selected = the organization is visible to non-members in the list of organizations

    Description

    General information about the organization, including its type and purpose.

    Reporting ID

    The reporting ID associated with the organization, allowing publishers people with the appropriate permissions the ability to list the ID as a recipient when sending a notification.

    If this field is left blank, the ID is automatically inherited from the parent organization.

    Contact Name

    Name of the main contact

    Contact Phone Number

    Phone number of the main contact

    Contact Email

    Email address for the main contact

    Address

    Address of the organization

    Pending Members Notification

    When the main contact wants to receive notifications about new pending members. The options are:

    • None

    • On Every Registration

    • Daily

    • Weekly

    Maximum Number of Memberships Allowed under This Parent Organization Allows you to specify the maximum number of organizations that an account is allowed to be added to within the parent organization tree.
  4. Click Submit.

Create a Child Organization

As an organization administrator, you can create child organizations to represent departments or facilities within an organization. If these departments or groups are part of multiple organizations, you can network them instead of creating separate child organizations. For more information, see Network an Organization.

To create a child organization

  1. On the main menu, select Organizations. The Organizations page opens.

  2. Locate the organization and, on that row, click the more icon More icon.

  3. Select Create Child Organization. The New page opens.

  4. Enter this information.

    Field Description

    Name

    Name of the organization

    Available in Organization List

    Selected = the organization is visible to non-members in organization lists

    Description

    General information about the organization, including its type and purpose.

    Organization type

    The organization to which this child organization is associated with.

    Contact Name

    Name of the main contact

    Contact Phone Number

    Phone number of the main contact

    Contact Email

    Email address for the main contact

    Address

    Address of the organization

    Pending Members Notification

    When the main contact wants to receive notifications about new pending members. The options are:

    • None

    • On Every Registration

    • Daily

    • Weekly

  5. Click Submit.
