Join an Organization

You can request to join an organization through the Organizations page or the Membership tab of your account profile. As a member, you can view announcements, receive notifications, and possibly access files.

If you don’t see the option to join an organization, you may not meet the requirements for membership. After requesting to join an organization, your organization status is Pending until an organization administrator approves your request.

To learn more about an organization, locate the organization and click that row to open its details, with information such as its name, contact information, and membership.

To join an organization

1. On the main menu, select Organizations. The Organizations page opens.

2. Locate the organization and on that row, click Join. A confirmation window opens.

3. Click Confirm. Your organization status is Pending until an administrator approves your request.

To join an organization from your account profile

1. On your account profile, click the Membership tab.

2. Click + Add Organizations. The Select Organizations page opens.

3. Select the checkbox for each organization you want to join.

4. On the upper right, click Select.

5. Click Save.

Joining an organization using either method is only allowed if the maximum number of organizations allowed for that part of the organization tree has not been exceeded.

If there is a maximum number and joining this organization would exceed the limit, you need to leave one of the relevant organizations before you can join another.
