Form Publishing

When you publish a form, errors occur.

  • The settings in the WebEOC Settings window may be incorrect.

  • A change was made to the board that was not made to the form (for example, the WebEOC instance).

  • A change was made but the board was not republished before you published the form.

  1. In the WebEOC Settings window, modify the errors. See Add a WebEOC Instance to a Form.

  2. Republish the board, and then republish the form.

When you publish a form, a warning displays that indicates that one or more fields are unmatched.

(Move the mouse pointer over the following example window to enlarge it.)

Publish warning

  • A field exists in the form that does not exist in the WebEOC board.

  • A field name does not exactly match the board field name.

  • Although a form does not have to have all the same fields as a board, if you want data to be sent from the form to a board, the name of the form fields that also exist in the board must exactly match and be in the input view. See Finding Field Names in WebEOC and DesignStudio Pro.

  • This message does not mean that you cannot publish the form. If the form fields that are displayed in the message are components with information that you do not want to appear on a board, click Publish Anyway.

When you publish a form, a warning displays that indicates that fields required to update WebEOC records are not found in the WebEOC board's input view.

(Move the mouse pointer over the following example window to enlarge it.)

In the WebEOC Settings window, clear the Enable Update checkbox. See Add a WebEOC Instance to a Form.

Form Submission

Form does not submit successfully but submit message states: Your form has been submitted successfully.

This default message does not mean that the form's submission has been validated and that it has been successfully submitted. It is a configurable page that appears when the user clicks the Submit button.

The data submission process is separate from this action.
